Skyline Marina, Anacortes Washington, to Seattle, SEATAC, July 12
There were so many things that needed doing to get ready for leaving we were thankful we spent the night at the Marina. We packed, secured things in the boat and trunk, arranged to have the boat pulled out of the water and stored until our return around August 7th.
Our friends the Jacobs had graciously volunteered to garage our truck during our absence. It would provide an extra measure of security for the vehicle. The boat was going to be in a gated yard so it would be fine.
We packed up the truck and headed to the Jacobs in an eastern suburb of Washington. We went to dinner and they took us to a hotel right be the airport. We had an o’dark thirty flight to Sioux Falls, South Dakota where we were to become their newest residents.
